- Janice Patz'I wanted to take a moment out of my schedule to tell you what a fabulous job your agent, Jill Stehnach, did for my family and I in finding us a place to live in our relocation back to Sewickley.
By way of background, I received a job offer in the Pittsburgh area on April 15 with a start date of June 29. We presently reside in Syracuse. With a little more than two months to relocate, and as a single mom of two small children I was first overjoyed to be moving closer to family and lifelong friends but then panic stricken about securing housing in the neighborhood I wanted to reside.
I knew that we preferred to rent for a year or two, get my home in Syracuse sold, and really get a handle on the market in Sewickley before buying. I phoned Jill on a couple of listings she had. Upon hearing our story she tirelessly and patiently devoted herself to finding us a home we would be happy in, even if just as a rental to begin with. She faithfully returned all of my phone calls right away and responded to all of my e-mails without delay.
Knowing that I had only a couple of weekends to devote to traveling to Sewickley to look at homes, she made herself available not only to me but to close friends who were also helping me look for housing. She ended up being a great resource not only on the housing issue but on other questions that came up along the way.
I practice in real estate law here in Syracuse. I also have bought and sold two homes in my lifetime. So working with realtors is relatively commonplace for me.
Jill really distinguished herself from just about any realtor I have dealt with in terms of her trustworthiness, relentless dedication to helping me, kindness and knowledge of her market.
What I found particularly compelling about Jill, is that her hard work came in conjunction with securing us a rental property, not selling us a home. I know for a fact that the time and effort she placed into that endeavor far exceeds the end compensation to her. In my experience I have seen realtors do far less for far more.
